HELI SKIING TIPS:

Heli skiing is expensive! Heli-skiing tours can be expensive (think at least a couple of thousand dollars), so if you’re on a budget or you don’t want to spend a lot of money, heli-skiing probably isn’t for you.

Make heli skiing worth your while! It is worth spending some days before the trip in Vancouver to aclimatise and get used to the time change before you head up north.

The fitter you are the more fun you will have! It is worth getting fit before you arrive so you can make the most of your time in BC. Run, swim, ski, do anything you can to get you to your peak of physical fitness.

Are you a good enough skier? Heli skiing isn’t for new skiers or for beginners. You need to be a strong intermediate skier who can handle anything from deep powder to slick spring conditions. In addition, you need to know how to handle steep slopes.
