100 cm, 40 in of snow in 7 days!
Last Frontier Heliskiing @ Ripley Creek in the town of Stewart, British Columbia has received 100 cm (40 in) of snow in 7 days. Between Friday, February 8, and Friday, February 15, a series of low pressure weather systems off the Pacific Ocean bombarded the northern Coast Mountains with snow. All this snow of course makes very happy heliskiers. See our weekly photos from Week 7, but be warned, seeing all this snow could cause excessive drooling.
Ripley Creek Location Open for 2008
Snow has been dumping on the northern Coast Mountains for weeks as we welcome our first guests to Ripley Creek for the 2008 heliskiing season. Week 1 is shaping up to be epic with lots of new snow and some sun in the forecast. We’re excited to have all 3 of our locations now operating at full force. Happy skiing!

Is Unlimited Vertical Footage good for the customer? We think not.
Some heliski operations are now offering unlimited vertical footage as part of their regular program. We think that while this may look enticing at first glance, one may be well advised to look at the concept a little closer. Click here for more information.

NEW Helicopter at Ripley Creek
Starting in 2007 Ripley Creek will offer Heliskiing/Heliboarding with only 2 groups of up to 9 people using the Bell 204½ helicopter. As a result we have been able to substantially reduce our rates at Ripley Creek and now can offer packages as low as CDN$3208 for a 3 day trip CDN$4278 for a 4 day trip and CDN$6276 for a 7 day trip. At Ripley Creek you'll get a full service heli-ski experience out of a small BC border town with Alaska that includes good food and lodging in carefully restored old heritage buildings with all the emphasis on skiing and boarding.
