 Last Frontier Heliskiing and it’s guests are not the only people that enjoy the use of the Skeena Mountains. Beyond heliskiing, ski touring and snowmobiling are the most common activities seen in the mountains during the winter months. We sometimes fly ski touring parties into remote locations and huts. We also provide weather and snow stability forecasts via 2 way radio.
If we are skiing in an area where it’s obvious a ski touring party is present, we will go out of our way to avoid this area until they have moved on. We offer ourselves available in the event of an emergency, ready to lend a hand if need be.
