2011 Week 15 (02 Apr - 08 Apr) Summary
Wicked April powder on the high glacier runs. A few clouds early in the week bought another 20cm and then it was back to blue skies and awesome scenery on the glaciers and face shots in the trees. April can be this good.

2011 Week 14 (26 Mar - 1 Apr) Summary
There is one word for it - beautiful. We started the week with awesome powder skiing in the Alpine in great Spring temperatures, skied our first corn of the season and then it started snowing again - missed a day of skiing and then it was back to excellent powder in the Alpine (when the clouds parted to mid treeline elevations.

2011 Week 13(18 Mar - 25 Mar) Summary
Spring is sprung! The week began with blue skies and boot top powder in warming temperatures. Some exploration resulted in new runs! Midweek bought some low density new snow and a mix of steep tree runs and alpine cruisers in our high glaciated terrain.

2011 Week 12 (11 Mar - 18 Mar) Summary
Mostly skiing excellent powder in trees and glades for the first half of the week, with the occasional foray into the alpine when breaks in the weather allowed.Warming temperatures mid week moistened the snow at lower elevations, but gradually improving weather and windless conditions saw us cruising pow in the alpine for the remainder of the week.

2011 Week 11 (4 Mar - 11 Mar) Summary
15 cm of cold smoke and blue skies in the big glacier country of the SW started the week. Then new snow arrived making for some epic tree skiing and an awesome finish to the week in super light deep powder with some sun.

2011 Week 10 ( 25 Feb - 4 Mar) Summary
Most of the week was spent skiing fantastic powder in the trees and sheltered alpine areas, with cold temps clear skies and sun.To quote a satisfied guest - "in the top 10 best skiing days ever". Some enjoyable wind pressed powder was still found in the alpine at weeks end, but trees remained outstanding.

2011 Week 09 (18 Feb - 25 Feb) Summary
Some new snow at beginning of the week but arctic air comes in to bring sunny & cold conditions with outflow winds. Cold temperatures kept snow nice and dry in sheltered alpine bowls, glaciers and trees.

2011 Week 08 (11 Feb - 18 Feb) Summary
Low visibility and heavy snowfall limited skiing in the beginning of the week. Then mid week we had 75cm of new snow in 48hrs which set us up for one of the best weeks of the season; cold smoke, endless faceshots, bluebird days with limitless views. Then an arctic high pressure arrived and temperatures plummeted to -25.

Skied bottomless champagne powder again this week in the alpine and trees. Some clear weather with lots of new snow. We went ski touring this week as well. Fun had by everyone!

The week started out clear and cold with some great skiing in alpine bowls and glaciers in the southwest and east of the tenure. Heavy snowfalls midweek gave us 50-60 cm of new snow, made for amazing tree skiing to finish the week.

2011 Week 04 (14 Jan - 21 Jan) Summary
With new snow every day the conditions just got better and better. Up to 80cm of cold fresh snow and minimal winds mid week offered up some truly amazing skiing. Thursday the storm broke and the winds picked up in the alpine but the trees remained fantastic!

2011 Week 03 (08 Jan - 14 Jan) Summary
The week started with up to 70cm of settled storm snow from the previous storm. As the weather cleared our guests and guides were treated to excellent winter conditions. Light boot top powder and open glacier terrain. Mid week the temps dropped into the - teens with continuing blue skies. Clouds and gusty winds moved in on Thurs for some added snow and the week finished with excellent tree skiing.

2011 Week 02 (01 Jan - 07 Jan) Summary
Started the week (and year) with a couple of excellent days in the trees and the Alpine. But during the next 3 days we just snuck in the odd run due to severe helicopter icing, fog and heavy snowfall. The week ended with a great day in the trees and finally the sun came out and we were back to awesome powder in alpine bowls.

2011 Week 16 (April 6 - 12)
A wicked week with blue bird skies and high alpine glacier runs to start, a couple of down days mid week and fresh powder and great tree skiing to finish. Very happy guests! See you next year!!
