2012 Week 16 (13 Apr - 17 Apr)
Our last week of the season and it was classic spring conditions. We had mostly sunny skies with a nice dusting of light powder in north facing alpine bowls and glaciers. Team Japan had a blast. We want to thank all our guests for skiing with us and we hope to see you again in the future.

2012 Week 15 (6 Apr - 13 Apr)
The week started with blue skies and excellent conditions with lots of big glacier runs. A warm air mass moved in towards the end which resulted in unfavorable conditions.

2012 Week 14 (30 Mar - 6 Apr)
Began the week with boot top pow in the high alpine -fast and light under blue skies. Mid week saw us partying at the lake - gluwein and raclette! but the result was another 20cm of April powder and for the rest of the week we were back in the Alpine with stellar conditions on our big, steep glacier runs and awesome views in every direction.

2012 Week 13 (23 Mar - 30 Mar)
Cooler temperatures preserved our light density snow from ridge crest to valley bottoms for the first 4 days and with the long days we got in plenty of turns before our first burst of warm temperatures hit us with some sticky snow below treeline. But 2 days later, after 20cm of unexpected convective snow, we finished the week in blue skies and awesome turns.

2012 Week 12 (16 Mar - 23 Mar)
Convective Spring showers had us ranging the breadth of our tenure at the start of the week - boottop powder and panoramic views! Fresh snowfalls sent us to the trees later in the week but also left us with a clean slate to finish the week back in our high alpine bowls in blower knee deep pow.

An incredible week with a mix of days with sun in the high alpine and stormy days spent in the trees. Excellent skiing all week long.

An awesome week of heli skiing. Stellar skiing in both alpine and trees. Lots of face shots had by all. All in all one of the best weeks of the season.

This week we got to roam around a large portion of our tenure in super excellent snow, from the ridge tops to valley bottom. Variable skies chased us around, but we got the goods! 2 groups were just giving it!

Very good snow stability with mainly good weather and moderate temperatures gave us a great week of beautiful glacier and steep alpine runs as well as fun in the trees.

2012 Week 06 (3 Feb - 10 Feb)
A big week of skiing with plenty of vertical. A variety of skiing conditions allowed us to get into the alpine and onto glaciers. When the weather turned we headed into the trees to find some fantastic settled powder.

2012 Week 05 (27 Jan - 3 Feb)
The week started out with truly epic deep powder in the trees. With continuous snow falls keeping the pow deep. Mid week we had the chance to ski some modest alpine runs and by Friday afternoon the clouds broke for our last runs of the week.

2012 Week 03 (13 Jan - 20 Jan)
The week started with excellent deep powder skiing at all elevations. With the onset of the cold Arctic air, we took to the sunny aspects and found excellent skiing at tree line and below. At the end of the week snow began to fall again and we had epic knee deep powder in Caribou Trees.

2012 Week 02 (6 Jan - 13 Jan)
An amazing week with constant amounts of fresh snow, at the beginning of the week the groups skied thigh deep powder in the trees. By mid week the weather cleared up enough to head to the alpine and to our surprise there was no wind effect anywhere with unbelievable above boot op powder on the high glaciers. By the end of the week the snow began to fall again and we spent the last two day skiing epic trees runs.

2012 Week 01 (30 Dec - 6 Jan)
Wow – a yo-yo of a week. Started with unbelievably deep, over your head powder. Warmed mid-week with a day in denser snow at lower elevations which was immediately buried by the next cold front delivering more of the fluffy stuff until week’s end. We even had a superb afternoon sneaking in a few Alpine runs before yet more snow descended. And we have more snow in the forecast.

2012 Week 14 (30 Mar - 6 Apr)
What a way to finish the season. Blue skies and fresh powder mid week then more blue skies. We did some exploring and skied in the far corners of our tenure including a new 1600m run. A very successful season overall, one of the best ever at Ripley.

March Madness! A big dump to start the week off and with great weather. We traveled to some remote areas of the tenure which only get skied once a year. Later in the week the clouds arrived and so did the spring like conditions with lots of snow squalls. Very satisfied guest!

An epic Safari Week with a mix of deep powder in both the alpine and trees. Skiing the far reaches of our tenure and skiing some of the great ski runs with a total vertical of 230,000 ft skied. This is the way heli skiing was meant to be!

A great week of skiing. A couple of clear days early in the week let use do some great tours across the larger mountain ranges. With new snow and no wind on Wednesday we had an epic day Thursday skiing some ultra classic alpine bowls and steep tree lines in Deep Creek.
