Vaccine Requirement

As of October 24, 2021 the Government of British Columbia will require all persons entering restaurants and bars to show proof of complete vaccination. A full vaccination mandate will also be required for ALL Canadian Domestic air travel by the time our winter season commences. Last Frontier Heliskiing therefore will require all guests and staff to be fully vaccinated two weeks prior to arrival. If you choose not to be vaccinated, rollover options are available subject to availability.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Deposits and payments are non-refundable [except for COVID-19 Clause* related cancellations].

COVID-19 Clause

A COVID-19 cancellation request must meet one of the following two criteria:

    1. A government imposed border closure, travel ban, or quarantine requirement that prohibits you from leaving your home Country/Province or from entering British Columbia. A travel advisory, however strongly worded, does not constitute a travel ban.
    2. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 as part of your Canadian pre-entry requirements. A positive test must be corroborated by submitting an official test result.

If you have to cancel your 2022 heliski trip as part of our COVID-19 clause, you will have the option of moving your entire payment to our 2023 or 2024 season subject to availability and without any rate increase for a comparable tour.

Under a government imposed border closure or travel ban [as per clause 1 above], there will be an option to request a full refund.

In the event that Last Frontier Heliskiing has to cancel the tour after your balance payment has been made, a full refund or rollover will be offered.

Non COVID-19 Related Cancellations

Any cancellation request outside of the above COVID-19 clauses including injury and sickness will not be considered as part of our 2022 COVID-19 exclusion. We strongly recommend the purchasing of trip cancellation / interruption / medical insurance to cover those risks. BC Residents only: (Bizarrely) Heli-evac insurance is not available in the insurance market for BC residents. Therefore for those that want it, we will underwrite a heli-evac insurance policy – $20 per day, to be purchased at the lodge.

Payments

A deposit of $2,500 is required to secure each seat and the balance of the trip is due 90 days prior to the trip start date.

All payments must be received via our online payment portal Flywire.

Canada Entry/Exit Requirements
It is the responsibility of all guests to ensure that the proper entry/exit requirements are met prior to travel. For further information, see [here].

COVID or Non Covid Related
Last Frontier Heliskiing is not responsible for any costs outside of your heliski package. This includes quarantine related expenses in the event of illness (e.g. flights, hotels, meals, additional transportation etc.)

Name Changes
Name changes are permitted at no cost.

Liability Waiver
Each participant will be required to sign a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement before being allowed to ski or snowboard with us. See sample waiver here.

Hotel Bookings
Cancellations or changes of the Vancouver/Terrace hotels are required 72 hours prior to the reservation date. For cancellations within 72 hours of the reservation date there is no refund.

Airline Tickets
Last Frontier Heliskiing does NOT include domestic flights between Vancouver and Terrace/Smithers in our packages.

Third Party / Supplier Covid Policy
Last Frontier Heliskiing is unable to guarantee that everyone visiting or working at third-party accommodation / hotels in Stewart, Smithers, Terrace or Vancouver that have public access, will be fully-vaccinated.
