The spread of Covid-19 [coronavirus] is having a profound impact around the world and in our very own communities. In line with Canada’s introduction of Global Level 3 Travel Restrictions on March 16, we took the difficult decision to suspend our 2020 heliski season. Our last guests departed on March 18, 2020.
Our focus has been (and continues to be) on the safety and wellbeing of our guests and crew. This decision will affect many – guests, staff, stakeholders and suppliers. It was not a decision that was made lightly and we are deeply saddened to end our season early.
The gas station at Bell 2 Lodge remains open to the public as an essential service and we are currently offering basic take-out food services and accommodation on a limited / emergency basis to travelers heading north or south.
Our team at HQ have been working hard with affected guests to move their heliski experience to 2021. Thank you for your patience.
Should any of our guests or staff become diagnosed with COVID – 19 we remain alert and ready to communicate with those possibly affected.
Our thoughts are with all of those who have been directly affected by this illness and we hope you, your friends, family and colleagues stay well.
