Filming for 2014 Last Frontier Video
For five days in January we hosted a hand-picked crew to capture the essence of our experience here at Last Frontier. We’ve heard from many of you that our promo materials don’t showcase the great tree skiing we have. Well…we nailed it. And while we were at it, let’s build an igloo…a week later and we don’t want to count how many man hours….voilà. You’ll be able to see footage of this trip and other projects as we lead up to our 2014 season…

2013 Conditions Summary
The 2013 heliski season was characterized with excellent overall conditions, fantastic tree skiing in January and epic powder in March. Snow pack was slightly below average, but when you get over 82 feet per year [ 25 meters ], a little less than usual doesn’t matter too much.

We skied an average of 146,000 vertical feet [ 44,570 meters ] per week, which is about average and very similar the past four heli skiing seasons.
