How much does Heliskiing cost?

What if skiing could exceed anything you’ve already experienced? What if fresh tracks were endless and you could ski up to 180,000 vertical feet [55,000 vertical meters] in just 7 days? What if you got to soar above the clouds in a helicopter and see breathtaking, once in a lifetime views while sitting right next to your best buds and one of the best mountain guides in the world? Discover what makes a heliskiing trip so unique compared to a regular ski vacation and why it’s worth the premium cost.

The Food
The food at our lodges could be worth the trip in itself. From complete breakfast buffets, hearty lunches served on a mountain, apres-ski snacks and 3-4 course dinners, our kitchen staff will keep your stomachs satiated and happy all day long. Got any dietary restrictions? No problem. Our chefs will concoct a special menu just for you.
What’s included in my heliski package?
Guiding services, rental of skis, poles, snowboards and avalanche gear, food, accommodation, soft beverages, stretch classes, organized road transfers to and from Terrace Airport, as well as a defined guaranteed amount of vertical, are included in the package cost. A boon for our foreign guests: the Canadian Dollar is low [check current exchange rate], so it is rather advantageous to head up to British Columbia for a heliskiing trip.

How Much Should I Budget for Extras?
It’s important to consider the other costs you will incur as you plan your dream heli-skiing vacation. In addition to the heliski package costs, flights to and from Smithers/Terrace, alcoholic beverages, massages as well as extra vertical are not included.
Although our remote location may seem off the beaten path, our 25 years of operation show that our geography and staff really set us apart from other heliskiing operations. With a capacity of 36 people at Bell 2 Lodge and 24 people at Ripley Creek, access to our tenure of acreage (10,100 km2; the largest single heliski area in the world. About ¼ the size of Switzerland) is quite an exclusive experience.

Heliskiing is more than a ski trip. It is a remote experience based in the wilderness and every day spent with us is an adventure guided vacation. Yes, the cost of helicopter skiing is high, but it allows for easy access to incredible and remote terrain that would take days or even weeks to access by foot. The epic views, the moments of weightlessness as you fly through turn after turn of fresh powder, the unforgettable memories that you will share with friends and family members, the experience of a lifetime – these are the reasons that in the end, monetary cost doesn’t matter because these are the moments we all live for. Can you put a dollar amount on that?
