Cozy, Custom-Built Lodges Rich in Character and Charm

Book into the best Heli Ski Lodges in Canada

We know you are making the Northern British Columbia heli skiing journey to embrace the great outdoors and experience the single largest heli skiing area in the world, but your choice of heli ski lodges to stay in while you are with us will ensure your experience meets your expectations.

Last Frontier has two different heli ski lodge options for you to choose from – Bell 2 Lodge and Ripley Creek lodge. Both lodges offer you the perfect combination of isolation and comfort, ensuring that you experience the ultimate heli skiing trip with us. No matter which ski lodge you choose you will be staying in a quintessential Canadian ski lodge rich in character and charm. Below are 5 key features of our two heli skiing and heli boarding lodges to consider when selecting your Last Frontier accommodations:

Bell 2 Lodge

  1. Remote Location in the Skeena Mountains: Picture a small isolated town sitting amongst the epic peaks of the Skeena Mountains – that is what you can expect at Last Frontier’s Bell 2 Mountain Lodge. With space for 36 guests, this remote village of wood cabins offers guests the off-the-grid feel with a luxurious twist. Bell 2 Lodge was custom-built for heli skiing, offering guests a luxury experience after a long day of heli skiing on the mountains.
  2. Cozy Log Cabins: The Bell 2 Mountain Lodge provides guests with comfortable, mountain style log chalets, each of which includes extremely comfortable beds and wood burning fireplaces.
  3. Socializing: You and your cohorts can gather in the main lodge for meals, drinks and après-ski enjoyment. The main lodge offers guests a dedicated gear room, where yes, we will tune your skis. Also included in the main lodge are a bar, dining room, gift shop and customer service desk.
  4. Luxury: Lets get to the luxury. After a day of Northern BC heli skiing or heliboarding what could be better than a dip in the hot tub or a sweat in the sauna? With these luxuries located in the heart of our exclusive ski village you don’t need to go far for a relaxing soak.
  5. Downtime Activities: And for those who just don’t kick back and relax, there is an on-site fitness centre available at your convenience, as well as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and fat biking trails just outside your backdoor. If that is not enough, take advantage of your time at Bell 2 Mountain Lodge to test out your archery and skeet shooting skills.

Ripley Creek Lodge

  1. Location: Your second heli skiing and heli boarding lodge option is Ripley Creek Lodge, which has space for 24 guests. Located on the edge of the Alaskan border this quirky hotel in the town of Stewart British Columbia, with a population of only 300 locals, offers world-class views. Guests at the Ripley Creek Lodge can expect more challenging terrain with epic old growth tree skiing and massive glacier runs. This terrain is not suited to any type of intermediate skier and snowboarder. Strong, keen skiers and riders only at this location.
  2. The view: Sitting at the head of the Portland Canal, a saltwater fjord that runs 114 km to the Pacific Ocean, Ripley Creed Lodge offers views of glaciers and snow-capped peaks.
  3. Unique: Main Street Stewart includes a variety of historic buildings that have been reincarnated as the Inn. There are no two rooms alike in this lodge – this truly unique building and experience includes a prospector’s house, an old clothing shop and even a former brothel (don’t worry its been well cleaned).
  4. Back to Basics: This heli skiing lodge is about the basics; hot-tub and sauna for the muscles, and soulful food served across the street at the Bitter Creek Cafe, which conveniently doubles up as our Bar.
  5. Downtime Activities: During downtime, grab a bike and explore Stewart’s quirky back streets, check out the museum or cross the border to Alaska.
