Wake up, cause today is the day you and three of your friends are going on the ultimate ski trip. First, pack your gear. Then head to the airport. After a quick espresso, you all hop on a flight to Vancouver. There, we’ll meet you at the airport and load you, your friends and your gear into a limo and take you to your hotel. The next day (or that same one), it’s a short flight to either Smithers or Terrace in Northern British Columbia. Now it’s time for the last leg of the trip. We’ll drive you to your lodge of choice. Did you book yourself in at Ripley Creek for a week of skiing in the wilds of the Southeast Alaskan Panhandle or are you headed to Bell 2 Lodge for a week of skiing in some of the most rugged and beautiful mountains in the world?

This is what awaits you on the Last Frontier

Either way, you’re in for a treat. You and your friends have come to The Last Frontier for the ultimate heliski tour. While we offer 5 day tours, you chose our 7 day private heliski tour, ’cause what’s an extra two days? So for the next week, you and your friends have your own helicopter, two certified ACMG ski guides and the single largest heliski area in the world at your disposal. Wanna smash laps until your legs turn to rubber? No problem. Want to spend the morning shredding pow and the afternoon soaking in a remote hot spring, letting yourself relax and enjoy millions of years of geological evolution? Done. Maybe you want to try skiing a little further into our tenure? No worries. On a private tour, it’s up to you and your guides to decide where and what you want to ski.

That’s the focus on a private heliski tour: the skiing. It’s a five or seven day week completely devoted to experiencing some of the best heliski terrain on offer anywhere. Have a larger group? No problem. Our private heliski tours are catered to groups of 4 and 8, each with their own machine and two of our most experienced ski guides. We offer private tours at either of our two locations. Both Ripley Creek and Bell 2 offer up a little bit of a different flavour and choosing between the two is part of the fun. But don’t worry, it’s like choosing between two sports cars; they both offer premium performance.

Booking a heliski trip is a big decision. There are myriad operators to choose from and each offer up a different style and terrain to ski. At Last Frontier Heliskiing, we pride ourselves on our terrain, the single largest in the world, and the passion and dedication of our guides and staff. We live to ski and ride and have chosen to make our lives in the mountains. So if you’re thinking of coming heliskiing and a private tour sounds like it might fit the bill, drop us a line. We’re after what you’re after: big mountains in a remote setting and some of the deepest snow you’ll ever ski.

Be safe, ski hard.
