April HeliSki Report

April ended on a high note with incredible skiing at both Bell 2 Lodge and Ripley Creek. With daily high’s cresting around minus 3, the 148cm’s of snow we got in the first two weeks of April created ideal conditions on all terrain types. We consistently skied from ridgetops down to around 900 meters in elevation with great snow. A string of bluebird days delivered huge verticals, which averaged over 53,900 vertical meters [176,800 ft]. When it was snowing, we headed for the trees and found waist to chest deep powder.
