March 2022 News & Conditions Report
March HeliSki Report
Snowy 2022 continues with another 300cm [118”] of fresh since the end of February. That brings our season to date snowfall to 955cm [376”] since January 1st. When it wasn’t dumping, we had spectacular bluebird days delivering huge verticals in the endless expanse of Last Frontier Heli country. Our team at Bell 2 Lodge managed an impressive 58,100 vertical meters of skiing in the first week of March, a feat in itself that was almost matched just a week later. Over at Ripley Creek, it was a similar story albeit with a bit less skiing and a bit more snow. Our snowbase now sits at over 460cm [181”] at only 900m [3,000’] in elevation. The forecast calls for more of the same with new storm fronts tracking over the Pacific this week and next. Temps remain cool and we are excited about the prospects of an extended winter with our last two tours coming up in April. For daily snow reports, head over to our conditions portal [here].
