Last Frontier inicia una temporada de 8 semanas de heli-esquí de exploración utilizando un solo helicóptero A-Star con base en Bell 2 Lodge. Teton Gravity Research (TGR) aprovechan la oportunidad de visitar esta parte del mundo todavía por descubrir. Apareciendo en su película Re: “Session”.
Una completa reconstrucción empezó para transformar Bell 2 Lodge en un pueblecito de heliski.
Ripley Creek nace en la pequeña comunidad de Stewart, enfrente de Hyder, Alaska. Los Jefes de Guías George Feitzinger y Andre Ike exploran la zona estableciendo una nueva área de heli-esquí al completo, sondeando a fondo las Montañas Costeras.
Last Frontier se convierte en uno de los primeros operadores de la industria del heli-esquí en adoptar el uso obligatorio de “Airbags” para avalanchas para todos los huéspedes.
Un tercer helicóptero es añadido en Bell 2 Lodge, permitiendo mayor flexibilidad para grupos privados. La capacidad se eleva a 34 huéspedes.
Se completan las renovaciones para modernizar las zonas comunes en Bell 2 Lodge. El comedor y la recepción / tienda de regalos ven un buen cambio de cara.
Los socios fundadores George Rosset y Franz Fux venden su parte en Last Frontier Heliskiing. Franz continua como guía y George es sucedido por Mike Watling en la posición de Socio Director.

Los grupos de 5 eran geniales, pero los grupos de 4 son todavía mejor. Podemos cargar más fuel en el helicóptero y así poder adentrarnos en nuestra enorme área de heli-esquí. Ahora tenemos 1 guía por cada 4 huéspedes en vez de 5 - también mejor.
El Bar, la zona de entretenimiento y la Sala de TV y música ven una completa remodelación en Bell 2 Lodge. Al Bar en Ripley Creek también se le lava la cara.
Una revisión completa de nuestro edificio de sauna que alberga nuestras salas de masajes, clases de estiramiento y sauna seca.
Nuestras habitaciones renovadas cuentan con baños nuevos, pisos de baldosas con calefacción, aislamiento acústico adicional e iluminación completamente renovada. Las queridas estufas de leña de esteatita permanecen. Nuestra cafetería también sufrió una transformación total.

Bell 2 Lodge is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the operation and long-term upkeep of the lodge’s facilities, infrastructure, vehicles, utilities, and equipment.
Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Maintenance Department, ensuring that all systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The Assistant Maintenance Manager helps oversee preventive maintenance programs, coordinates repairs and projects, supervises maintenance staff, and supports ongoing improvements to the property and guest experience.
This position requires a strong technical background, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote mountain lodge environment. During periods when the Maintenance Manager is off-site, the Assistant Maintenance Manager assumes full departmental leadership and operational responsibility.

Last Frontier Heliskiing has been a pioneering force in heliskiing and heli boarding since 1996. We offer a range of heliski tours from two unique lodging experiences in Northern British Columbia. The Ski Guide is responsible for his or her helicopter group within a 3-group ski program.
