Une reconstruction complète commence pour transformer le Lodge Bell 2 en un village d’héliski.
Ripley Creek est née dans la petite communauté de Stewart, en face de Hyder, en Alaska. Les guides principaux George Feitzinger et Andre Ike explorent la zone en parcourant les montagnes côtières et créent une nouvelle zone d’héliski.
Last Frontier devient l’un des premiers opérateurs de l’industrie de l’héliski à adopter l’utilisation obligatoire des airbags anti-avalanches pour tous ses clients.
Un troisième hélicoptère est ajouté au Lodge Bell 2, permettant une plus grande flexibilité pour les groupes privés. La capacité s'élève désormais à 34 personnes.
Des rénovations sont effectuées pour moderniser les installations communes du Lodge Bell 2. La salle à manger, la réception et la boutique voient une grande rénovation.
Les fondateurs George Rosset and Franz Fux cèdent leurs part de Last Frontier Heliskiing. Franz continue de guider et Mike Watling succède à George dans le rôle d’Associé Directeur.
Last Frontier Heliskiing fête son 20ème anniversaire.
Les groupes de 5 étaient supers, mais les groupes de 4 sont encore mieux. Nous transportons plus de carburant dans l’hélicoptère et nous pouvons ainsi nous enfoncer plus profondément dans notre vaste domaine d’héliski. Maintenant, un guide pour quatre personnes au lieu de cinq - c’est également mieux.
Bar, salle de jeux et salle multimédias voient une rénovation complète au Lodge Bell 2. Le bar de Ripley Creek fait également peau neuve.
Une refonte complète de notre bâtiment de sauna qui abrite nos salles de massage, cours de stretching et sauna sec.
Nos chambres rénovées disposent de nouvelles toilettes, de carrelage chauffant, d'une isolation phonique supplémentaire et d'un éclairage entièrement retravaillé. Les poêles à bois en pierre ollaire bien-aimés restent. Notre café a également subi une transformation complète.

This position spans two distinct seasonal operations. During the summer season, Bell 2 Lodge operates as a hotel, café, and roadside destination serving transient tourists, mining industry clients, contractors, and lodge guests. During the winter season, the operation transitions to Last Frontier Heliskiing, delivering a high-end, all-inclusive lodge experience focused on exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction.

Bell 2 Lodge is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the operation and long-term upkeep of the lodge’s facilities, infrastructure, vehicles, utilities, and equipment.
Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Maintenance Department, ensuring that all systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The Assistant Maintenance Manager helps oversee preventive maintenance programs, coordinates repairs and projects, supervises maintenance staff, and supports ongoing improvements to the property and guest experience.
This position requires a strong technical background, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote mountain lodge environment. During periods when the Maintenance Manager is off-site, the Assistant Maintenance Manager assumes full departmental leadership and operational responsibility.

Last Frontier Heliskiing has been a pioneering force in heliskiing and heli boarding since 1996. We offer a range of heliski tours from two unique lodging experiences in Northern British Columbia. The Ski Guide is responsible for his or her helicopter group within a 3-group ski program. This position involves supporting the Lead Guide to ensure that the ski program flows as planned to ensure a safe, enjoyable skiing experience for the guests.
